Reef Environmental Education Foundation is excited to announce an opportunity to partner with classroom teachers for the 2023-2024 school year. Thanks to the Coastal Partnership Initiative (CPI) grant from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, we can offer your class FREE REEF Virtual Field Trips, Colorful Fish Identification Cards for your students, and marine life curriculum for you to use as a classroom resource.

This Great Annual Fish Count, join REEF and Florida Keys Dive Center for a free fish ID class, followed by a REEF survey dive. 

Morning check-in for class at REEF Interpretive Center at 9:15am, break for lunch at 11am, and check-in for the survey dive at Florida Keys Dive Center at 12pm.

Help protect the oceans! Join REEF for a mangrove and coastal cleanup in partnership with our friends at John Pennekamp State Park. Parking is available on Marseilles Blvd. Attendees should bring a reusable water bottle, and bug protection such as spray and/or netting.
