1. Dusky to dark bar below front portion of soft dorsal fin.
2. Black spot behind corner of mouth.
Size:
6-14 in. max. 17 1/4 in.
Thin-bodied; football-shaped profile. Silvery gray, occasionally brownish. Deeply forked tail. Common central California to B.C.
