This month-long GAFC event is sponsored by CoCo View Resort and hosted by Allison & Carlos Estape. Every July, divers and snorkelers worldwide join to learn about marine life and conduct fish surveys as a part of REEF's ongoing Volunteer Fish Survey Project. CoCo View Resort in Roatan, Honduras celebrates this event for the whole month of July to educate and encourage divers and snorkelers to become citizen scientists. The GAFC is a catalyst to introduce divers, snorkelers and the general public to volunteer in fish monitoring.

GAFC events are FREE to all registered CoCo View guests! Guests at CoCo View Resort will enjoy unlimited shore diving, 2 boat dives daily (4 tanks), all meals and accommodations, entertainment, Wifi & more. There are a variety of room types and beach houses available, and a PADI 5 Star dive shop and photo shop on site. 

 This is the 14th consecutive year that the GAFC event has been sponsored by, and held at CoCo View Resort, a REEF Conservation Partner.

Included in the week’s activities are: 

• Free entertaining and educational seminars including fish ID classes, guided fish survey dives, photo shows, contests, Roatan history presentations, and lionfish seminars. 
• All classes held in AC environment with large screen HDTV incorporating photos and videos.
• Daily Fish ID contest with daily prizes and week’s end grand prizes.
