Thanks for your interest in the 2019 Pompano Beach Lionfish Derby, organized by Shipwreck Park Pompano Beach.
About the Derby: This lionfish derby is organized in conjunction with "Taste of Shipwreck Park" held on the grounds of Sample McDougald House (450 NE 10th St. Pompano Beach, FL 33060) from 6-9pm on Aug. 17. This event will feature art, diving and marine conservation booths and live music by Andrew Morris Band. Attendees can sample lionfish dishes made by local chefs, using fish caught during the derby! The awards ceremony for the lionfish derby will begin at 8pm.
