An amazing South Pacific adventure! This will be REEF's third trip aboard the NAI'A, a custom-built diving liveaboard yacht. We will visit bountiful reefs around the famous Bligh Waters region of Fiji, while being pampered by an amazing crew. We will also experience a traditional Fijian village and be treated to an evening of song and dance.

Cost Per Person: $3,534

What is included: Double occupancy accommodation aboard this luxury liveboard, 6 days of diving (4+ dives per day) plus one dive on the first day, tanks and weights, Nitrox, all meals aboard ship, transfer to the ship from the Nadi airport or hotels in the Nadi area, transfer back to Nadi at the end of the charter, and local taxes.

Additional fees: A REEF Program Fee of $300 per diver will be added to each package to cover the cost of the group leaders, seminar and survey materials. A fuel surcharge of $114  (subject to change)  and marine park fee of $20 will be collected on board from each passenger. Package price does not include gratuities, alcoholic beverages (other than the house wine served at dinner), gear or camera rentals, sundry personal purchases from the ship's store, the fuel surcharge, or in-transit hotel rooms.

Airport/hotel transfer information: Participants will fly into/out of Nadi (NAN). Participants will be transferred from Nadi to the boat at 1pm on 05/12/15 and back to the Nadi area in the morning on 05/19/15. The NAI'A office can recommend in-transit hotels that offer half-day rates to accommodate early arrival and late departure times. About the trip leaders: Dr. Christy Pattengill-Semmens is REEF's Director of Science, and her husband Dr. Brice Semmens, is a professor of coral reef ecology and fisheries at Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Christy and Brice have been part of the REEF program since its beginnings in 1993 when they were interns for the Nature Conservancy. They have led dozens of REEF Field Surveys over the years to all of REEF's survey project regions.
