Join us at REEF Headquarters to learn about Florida Public Archaeology Network's new citizen science program - Submerged Heritage Monitoring Scouts (HMS) Florida. This program is designed to monitor historic wreck sites along Florida's Shipwrecks Trail. REEF members have a keen eye for monitoring ecosystems, and this easy to use form allows you to monitor archaeological locations as well! We will discuss Florida's Shipwreck Trails, why these sites are important to monitor and protect as resources, as well as how to get involved in keeping them safe.
