Here is a small (<2 inch fish) we saw on the south side of Mingo Cay near St. Thomas, USVI in ~65 feet of water.  I think that it is a really juvenile hogfish based on the pattern under the chin and the shape and pattern of the first dorsal spines and ventral fins.  Can anyone confirm?
